WHITE DRESS – MORNIN TO EVENING!

Yes.. It’s been long since I posted anything. Last month has been really busy with so many fun travel trips, celebrations and work. Finally getting some time to get back to the blog and trust me I did miss it.. 🙂

My wardrobe is incomplete without a little white dress in it. It’s a must have piece for summer(at least for me). I bought this cute white dress around two years back and I have been wearing it for beaches, casual summer day out and where not. But this time I decided to style it for morning to evening look on a Sunday.

I paired it with denim jacket and hat for morning visit to a park with friends and used a black cardigan along with a wide belt for evening.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed styling it.

Maxi Dress: Day to Night

A style of dresses that makes you feel like you are sailing while going around.. Yes, the maxi dress fits every lady at any level or age as it matches teenagers & women from all age groups, & matches all physiques & styles. Today’s blog is about wearing a maxi dress from day to evening. For a casual, laid-back look at daytime, I like adding colors to an outfit. Thus I paired it with flats and a bright color scarf and belt. For the evening, pair it with heels and bag and you are ready to go. Hope you like it..! 🙂

Neutral work wear

When it comes to work wear, I try to stick to neutral colors. Here, the black and cream offset the brown nicely and the look is very flattering on a slim pear shape. Though sweater dresses can be a bit blocky and shapeless, the placement of the color blocking provides a nice illusion. And thats’s how this piece is one of my favorite office wear. I also wear it in casual occasions like museum touring and all.  The knit is mid-weight, so I can wear through early spring.

Keep it simple

Getting dressed is never as easy as it looks and no one knows it more than a woman.. 🙂 While running short of time my idea is to keep it simple. With this simple, yet well constructed knit white turtle neck sweater, this look came together effortlessly. Just add a touch of brown and you are ready to go..

One piece different ways..

I have been trying to learn creative ways to wear the pieces in my closet in multiple different ways.  Figuring out how to do that not only helps me getting plenty more outfits than imagined, but also helps me grow my style while using the wardrobe to the absolute fullest.  Before style blogging, I tended to wear an item of clothing only one or two ways(probably the way I’d seen it in shop), so being able to imagine a piece being worn four or five different ways was super fun!

So here is my list from one piece in my closet. It’s your turn now.. 🙂

Mini check skirt

Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend..

In today’s blog, I am going to focus on mini skirt with check print. I bought this cute little skirt around 2 year back. I love check print especially in blues and when I saw the skirt with pockets, I just had to take it. Though I have been using it for summer wear all this while, my new blogging hobby gave me a chance to wear it even before summer by pairing it with knee high socks and denim jacket. It’s comfortable and perfect for any casual day.. 🙂
