I have been asked this question many times if size of my wardrobe has doubled since the time I have started this blog. Well.. yeah, I love buying new clothes but the answer to this question is ‘NO’.. 🙂
One thing that I have learnt the most from this blogging journey so far is to look back at my wardrobe and finding out all the pieces that I haven’t looked at for many years. And that’s exactly the case with the black dress in this look. Because of it’s extra deep neck at the back and short length I didn’t consider this tank dress a good candidate for a casual day wear and had mainly used it for Friday night clubbing or drinks. But recently, thanks to my ‘Take all old stuff out mission’, I could think of pairing it with a denim jacket to dress it down and bring that casual look out of it. And the final touch with those funky blue lens sunglasses to add the perfect pop of color to my outfit. These sunglasses will make sure that you get noticed wherever you go..;)
I bought this white casual blazer about a year ago just because it’s white in color and I love anything and everything in white. At that time I didn’t realize how versatile this blazer is going to be. I wear it over colored trousers, pencil skirts and shorts all the time. But this blog is not about this blazer. The highlight of this look is purple pink clutch. I got it as a gift and loved it the moment I laid my eyes on it. I really like the color combination and pattern on it, isn’t it cute? From then I have been thinking of pairing it with an outfit for an occasion and finally here is the final look. I wore this outfit for a birthday brunch last week. Accessorized the overall look with a necklace I bought during my Egypt trip.
Doesn’t it feel great when style just come effortlessly? That’s probably one of my favorite things about the summertime. In this blog, I am wearing a mini skirt with a white top tucked in. I like the fact how the tie and dye type pattern with turquoise, blue and black on skirt brings that color effect on a plain white top. And when it comes to summer hats I always prefer the cream and black band combo most certainly. With a cross body bag, isn’t it effortless? 😉
A denim jacket is light and versatile. It’s great for casual outfits, and also works well with dresses and skirts. Here I am wearing it on an asymmetric skirt for a nice summer day. I love the color and the way this skirt flows.
Bring out your inner modern day gypsy with a cute mini boho style dress this summer. I am not a big fan of cutout shoulders and this is the 1st time I have tried it. But I must agree that it adds on the special touch for a flowing, comfortable ultra chic dress. Wear it with sandals to booties or even throw over your bikinis for the perfect boho look.
What would you like to wear for your daily, for hang out, for walking around, and for shopping? Many women and girls would like wearing jeans pant, dresses, short jeans pant, and leggings. This is because of casual style is identical with jeans pant and T shirt. But actually, casual style still has many other trendy clothes, not only jeans pant and T shirts. As the substitute of jeans pant, you can consider wearing khaki pants for women.
The good part with khaki is that it gives you the option to create many style and color combinations to try. I have been dreaming of pairing a khaki with brown and here is what came out and I am absolutely happy with that.
