There is something about the color yellow that brightens things up. It’s so refreshing and cheerful. Enter any room with a perfectly sunny yellow hue and congratulations! you have already made the statement 😉 I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it on Romewe  mainly due to it’s color. The perfect length and tie-shoulder with pleats also gave it some extra points.

Today I’m going to share two different looks I created with this dress.

In my first look I just paired it with tan colored wedges as is. I try not to mix too many colors while wearing a yellow. This way I let the color speak for it itself while still keep it simple. I love pairing tan color with yellow as it’s contrasting yet very subtle.

In my second look I used a belt to create the waistline in the dress. The only thing I would want to change in this dress would be it’s thick polyester material that takes a lot of time to iron those pleats. Being a mom of a super active one year old I don’t get the luxury of time to spend on ironing those pleats perfectly and that’s where the belt comes very handy. It not only gives it a totally different look but also hides those wrinkles 😉 A denim jacket and suede booties to finish the look and we are ready to roll.
