Happy April, everyone! So it’s officially Spring now. Even if it’s still freezing cold at some places, Spring has sprung in the stores with a whole new crop of fashion and accessories trends. Talking about trends, you will be seeing a lot of fringes, tassels, pompoms, off-the-shoulder, stripes, hem denims everywhere this Spring. And since it’s Spring, the floral prints, bright colors and pretty pastels are but obvious! I always look forward to this season. With new beginnings and fresh buds blooming, so much inspiration from nature all around you.
Well it’s still little cold here in San Francisco(that’s a breaking news!) But I have fully convinced myself that it’s Spring already and I am going to dress up accordingly. This post of mine is totally dedicated to welcoming Spring with bright and vibrant colors and I am going to share two different looks with a maxi dress. This sleeveless dress starts with spaghetti straps that connect at a beautifully embroidered bodice. An elastic waistband provides a comfortable fit and a looser skirt that wraps around your ankles.
In the first look I wanted to keep it simple and feminine and just flaunt the dress as is. To give a softer touch to the overall look I just added a hand chain and pendant necklace to it.
The second look, a little more experimental. I knotted the dress on one side. That not just gave it a ‘dhoti pant’ look but also let my gladiator sandals peek through it. Then I paired it with a white top and tied it with a white tasseled belt(which I stole from other dress of mine :P) to create a nice waistline. An orange flower as the final touch and Voila! We’re ready to go..
Hope you have a wonderful Spring season ahead and thanks for reading!

which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting
fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at options for
another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a
    good platform.
