Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing great..

Just came back from a much awaited trip to home country and I am still jet lagged.

It was an awesome and super exhausting trip. Well spending time with family after three years and covering 6 different states in just three weeks is exhausting for anyone. So glad that I was able to find some time to shop and dress up for the biggest festival in India – Diwali. Since living in USA doesn’t give me much opportunity to shop and wear traditional dresses, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity of wearing a saree and honestly, I couldn’t wait to wear it. Not just that, I wore the same saree to Diwali celebration event in my office after coming back to US last week and was so happy to win the best ethnic wear award as well(BIG SMILE on my face while writing it). I like the color combination and the border work on it and the blouse(the top over the saree) is just a plus plus. The part which I loved the most about it is that you don’t have to worry about wearing heavy jewelry as the color and work on the saree brings you straight into the festive season mood without any extra effort(exactly what I want).

Though the Diwali night was filled with the hustle and bustle of celebration and guests, I did manage to take couple of shots in the Saree and thought of sharing it with you(Please pardon the bad lighting). Ahhh.. I already want to wear it again. Just waiting for another occasion. Thanks for reading and have a great weekend ahead 🙂
